It's almost that time again!!!! Do you use any special shedding tools, like the SleekEZ - is it any good?
Last year I used a block that is used to clean BBQ grills - a friend gave it to me - worked pretty good.

The SleekEZ are awesome- or a fine tooth hacksaw blade with ends duct taped for grips. Best ever for shedding. Luck you if yours are already dropping their hair- spring must be getting close :

I have had a sleekEZ for a couple of years and really like it. They are well worth the money. I hate the blocks, they always make my skin rought and remind me of fingernails on a chalk board.

Justin Fry a farrier in MN has the best shedding things ever, it is a blade on a hard curry type brush with big plastic teeth as well. It is fabulous!

I invested in a Sleek EZ last year... have to say I absolutely love it! Now that I've seen what its made of, an old hack saw blade would also do the trick.

I got the one made by Christine Laughling's dad...pretty much the same as the Sleek-Ez just a flat piece of wood instead of contoured. I love it! Makes spring time brushing SO much easier.

Where can you get a Sleek EZ? I have used a shedding stone I forget who makes them but it works amazing.

I just got he SleekEZ too! Bought one for my horses and dog. I haven't been able to use it yet, go figure... The dog blew his coat RIGHT BEFORE I got it in the mail. They were cheap enough that I bought one for everyone in the barn for Christmas! Thinking of warmer days...
