| Okay, I live in California and our electric bill with heating this month is $1100. We live in a 1500sf house with forced air heating. This might be the straw that breaks my love affair with California.
We had thought about moving to St. George or Cedar City, but if there's work north of there we will go. What do you all pay during the winter for Gas/Electric. (And yes, I know I can have a wood stove or firewood...but someone stole all of our cured wood while we were at work this fall.) |

Location: MT | I lived in Cedar City from 2002-2006. Really liked it there. I don't remember what I paid for power, but don't remember it being anything crazy out of line or more than other places I've lived. |

Location: California | I'm in Monterey County... I don't use anything other than a space heater and lots of blankets. I'm in a smaller space though. At my moms house we were only ever allowed to have the heater on for 10-20 minutes and not often, but it was enough. |

Location: Where I am happiest | We are just west of salt lake city. Our gas&electric bill is running just under 300 a month. Thats a 2200 sf house, barns, and 4 water trough heaters. |

Location: Windoming | Everyone's electricity bill is going to get much worse with the current administration's vendetta against the coal that produces it. |

| I lived in St George from 2003-2006, Cedar City from 2006-2010, and now I live in Beaver which is 50 miles north of Cedar City. All utilities are in Southern Utah should be under $300 for Gas, Electric, Garbage and Water. If you are paying more than that, you have a leak somewhere. I currenty pay about $150/month for everything in a 3600 sq ft house, very very reasonable. |

| Thanks, y'all. Currently I live in San Diego county in the mountains. Our utility company just rapes people and since we rent we can't get solar. I am just over it...like a lot of things here in California. While everyone else is enjoying gas under $2.00 ours is still $2.59.
Just got the SDG&E bill and it's currently $1,968.42. Our rent is $1750. No Bueno!! I think it's time for a move. |

That is insane... I live north of you (Ventura) and my electric and gas combined was less than $200... and I have a 1500sf house! Something is wrong with your bill |
