Location: Muskogee, OK | Arkansas folks.... I've had a possible job opportunity come up in Royal, AR which is very close to Hot Springs. So far from what I've seen of the area it seems nice. I was wondering what the barrel racing scene is like? Lots of places to go? |

Location: Arkansas | I don't know anything about barrel racing up there but we love to visit HS. Maybe some of the other AR folks will weigh in with their knowledge! |

| Quite a bit goes on in Texarkana. There is an nbha that is active and several outdoor arenas near Texarkana have things going on regularly. Marshall TX isn't too far either |

Location: 100 miles from Nowhere, AR | There are some small events in Hot Springs, but lots of stuff to go to within 1-1.5 hours. It's a gorgeous area with a lot of TB farms and a better selection of vets than most other parts of the state. I wouldn't mind living there at all. |

| I live in Malvern, we are just 15-20 min from Hot Springs. I usually get my colts seasoned in Arkansas Barrel Racing Association, which has shows all over central Arkansas. ABRA also has Rodeo and Jackpot divisions. Then they have the big jackpots ( Lucky Dog, Running WJ, ETC) at Texarkana. And big local jackpots at Pine Bluff, Conway, El Paso, Searcy, sometimes Benton. Not sure if you have kids or not but lots of youth rodeos around here too. We stay busy literally year round. Hot Springs itself is beautiful! Absolutely love going there and just hanging out. Lots of lakes and things to do. If you need any more info, just PM me :) |
