You will get mixed reviews. I have friends that had them and couldn't get rid of them quick enough due to leaks and the trailer welds cracking and breaking due to the weight. |

Location: Hill Country of TEXAS!! | Terrible on all accounts! I won one and the door fell off a month later on my second time to ever haul it.. Id spend my money on a well built trailer like elite than to go with a bloomer. If its used, go over and UNDER it with a fine toothed comb. |

Location: Texas | Love my Bloomers! This is the second used one I have had. First one was a 2001 3 horse with a 14' short wall. Current one is a 2006 3 horse with a 10' short wall. Both held up excellent and had absolutely no problems or issues. I purchased both of them used, but both held their resale value for what I paid. |

pretty much my experience as well.
Also know of a past NFR qualifier that picked up a new one on the way out of town a few years ago and made it about 9 hours before the axles fell out of it.

First off, you can't blame any axle issues on Bloomer. Dexter builds the axles that go under all 3 brands. Bloomer doesn't build the axles.
That being said, I have to say that's the Bloomer was the heaviest built of all 3. The doors, Windows and walls all were much heavier built than either Platinum or Elite.
I do believe that Bloomer has 2 different groups of welders. The welds on the body of the trailer are much better quality than the welds on the dividers. But that doesn't affect the quality of the trailer.
There are good and bad about all trailers but I honestly think if any thing even happens with a Bloomer you hear about it a million times more than any other brands just because it's such a big name company.
And I don't think any brand trailer is built as good today as it was 10 years ago.

I currently have an 05 4 horse LQ too. It'S HEAVY but I love the lay out and it's very roomy. |

So do they also install themselves?

the welder comment could probably go for a lot of companies...have a cm norstar (Cimarron) that is well built and the welds are "eye appealing' on the exterior of the trailer. the welds on the inside of the trailer were obviously done by someone else as they are not quite the row of nickels that you see outside on the windows/doors. all that matters is that they hold though.

I have seen with the experience from different factories that they are making them better. The only difference is materials used. How well the welds were done will make a difference on trouble later. |

Exactly. Bloomer installs all of the axels to the frames of the trailer they are building.. if they come off the frame, its not the axel companies fault. |

Location: At the barn | The problems I've heard of with the axles were not the axles coming out but wheels running off. Which could be from lack of maintenance in a lot of cases. But that wouldn't be Bloomers fault. |
