| Psalm 94:1-10-11 O Lord God, to whom vengeance belongs, O God, to whom vengeance belongs, shine forth! He who instructs the nations, shall he not correct, He who teaches man knowledge? The Lord knows the thought of man, and they are futile.
The Psalmist raises one of the challenges questions of life: Where is God when things are bad? The matter of the fact is, there, there are going to be times when the arithmetic of life is not going or add up. The hardest things in life to stand are the things you don't understand. Life is not always going to make sense to you. But there is a great truth to remember: just because things do not make sense to God. Everything He allows in our lives fit perfectly in His plan, even when we don't understand the timing or the "why" of our circumstances.
In perplexities , when we cannot tell what to do, when we cannot understand what is going on around us, let us be calmed and steadied and made patient by the thought that what is hidden from us is not hidden from Him.
Where is God when things are bad? he is on His throne, watching over those who are His. God knows what He is doing! When things are bad, He will work out the situation for His glory and for our good.
For it is WITH God all things are possible
Father God, guide me today to do all things that bring glory and honor to You Amen
Have a BLESSED, peace in your heart day, the closer you are in your relationship with Jesus the more you understand God is right by your side ALWAYS and FOREVER! AMEN |

Location: Somewhere between S@% stirrer and Saint | Thanks LJ. During hard times or bad times God is there waiting for us to be humbled to call upon him in faith and prayer. He is waiting for us to rely on him. Will he intervene sometimes yes and sometimes no. It is his decision. It is our commandment to call upon him always in faith and prayer. Sometimes we don't understand the lesson. |

| Have taken to praying every night, for several friends going through life or death health crises. But it has occurred to me that the very act of praying is selfish. Help MY friends, help MY family, Help MY country, let alone, let me have what I want. This actually leaves me feeling guilty of being selfish (and I refrain from praying for things for myself with the exception of for help being a better person and for recognizing what I need to do to be so).
Yet they tell you that when times get tough, turn to God? One of the many issues I have with organized religion.
