Has anyone tried this? I have read there is success.....would be better than using Lasix all the time. Thanks!

There are acupuncture points that will help bleeders but I don't think it's a 100% preventative. You can also look up the points and get them lasered, that's what I did. Didn't stop the bleeding though, good luck.

I have used Shephards purse. Check it out san Francisco Herb Company. It heals tissue my last bleeder I used this for three months with lasix. We scoped him before the Speed horse Derby he was barely pink he had fastest time in trials. I gave 1 cup per feeding
Kept him on Shephards purse took him off lasix

Accupuncture not sure how it could heal bleeding

Thanks for the responses! I have an equine vet who does acupuncture coming so we can try it. She says it may help along with other therapies but likely not going to cure it. I have had a couple really horse vets tell me that bleeding is often due to some other inflammation in the body and often the horse is sore somewhere and may not outwardly show it....I an hoping if the acupuncture helps with these reasons, then I can help the bleeding inadvertently. We will see....

My vet does acupuncture, he has worked on all my horses but has never  suggested it for my bleeder.
