Those of you who ride in treeless or flex tree saddles what type of pads and what thickness are you using?

I always used the Pro Choice HD pads when I rode in a treeless. I am not sure of the thickness. I also did
(and still do
) use a roper girth.

I like the Schneiders Performance pads under my treeless. They are available in 5/8" thickness and are very affordable. I also have a 5 Star I ride under mine as well but it's thicker. Some people like a saddleright, but I prefer the Schneiders.

For my Deb Sibley flex tree saddle, I use a 3/4" 5 Star pad. Just the regular barrel racer pad they make, not the treeless pad. And for my Tammy Fischer saddle, I use a CSI pad with a 3/4" wool liner.

Most of the time I use a saddleright, but every once and a while I will use a ½" CSI. Those are the only 2 pads I will use, regardless of what saddle I use.
