I already have a vet opinion, just wondering if anyone has dealt with this?

off set in what way? over at the knee, back at the knee, knees  turn out? I have ran one that had knees that turned out slightly. He didn't wing or have any issues and it wasn't so noticable that most would notice. He did great running barrels until he broke his pelvis.

I have a bench kneed mare that is athletic and sound. She is now 8 and has run for 4 years. I also rope off of her. I just make sure I use a good farrier and keep her fronts wrapped when I work her.

I have a bench kneed one.   She ended up popping splints in both fronts during training, first leg at the end of her 2 year old year and the second one the beginning of her 4 year old year.  So she had a very delayed start on barrels.  I was so worried it was my fault when the first one popped but the vet assured me that it was pretty much inevitable with her with her confirmation.  Certainly wouldn't want a bench kneed one for a futurity prospect IMO.  But after she matured they have not been an issue.  Granted she's been out of commission since June but that's because she's stupid and injury prone...nothing to do with her offset knees lol

I had a bench-kneed horse who was extremely athletic. Just know that they are more prone to have issues with those legs as they age- he and his mother both ended up with pretty severe arthritis. This was a long time ago, so some damage could be mitigated by supplements, etc. available nowadays. Those with off-set mares, also note that it is really, really hereditary.
