| What is your favorite grain to feed to your performance horses? Why do you like it over other products you may have tried?
Thanks, just curious what everyone uses. |

Location: London Ontario | I feed, whole triple cleaned oats, alfalfa pellets, Buckeye Gro N win. I top dress with ground flax, MSM, THE Muscle Mass with double ulcer and regular joint and some salt. I soak it all to make it into a mash. I also feed a large scoop of mini timothy/alfalfa cubes soaked at night with their regular hay. |

| Renew Gold and Forco.
I really liked the results I had on Renew Gold. My horse looked and felt so good! It didn't seem to amp her up but I never felt like she didn't have any fire either. The cost keeps it a reasonable option. I pair it with Forco for an extra boost of prebios to help boost digestive efficiency.

Location: Tuttle Oklahoma | I love Renew Gold with Alfalfa. It has made a huge difference in my horses! I have tried almost everything strategy, ultium, omolene, pro force fuel, and kool speed just to name a few. I like the smaller portions and the cool energy that doesn't make them hot. My horses have really filled out since being on renew gold. I also give a custom formula of muscle mass to my ulcer prone gelding. |

| I feed a locally milled 4.5% NSC/Starch mix that is working great! It is designed for laminitic horses but works great if you just need something to give your horses to fill them up yet keep the sugars and starches EXTREMELY low. |

| Tribute Kalm 'N EZ (low sugar, low starch), MVP 6-way, Red Cell, quality alfalfa/grass hay
I did not have good luck with Buckeye Gro N Win...it wasn't enough calories and I was spending more $$ top dressing it to up the calories and fat my mare needed. It just didn't work for me. I think it works great for an easy keeper/ retired horse because it's a low ration feed.
The simpler, the better.

Location: North Dakota | First of all, I WOULD feed the Omnis cubes if I could get them. Seeing as I can't, I feed whole oats, Alfalfa (I've tried every form, currently testing out chopped), flax, and Renew Gold (although suddenly I'm not seeing it at my Tractor Supply so if I can't get it in the future I'll just be doing rice bran from...uh...manna pro I think it is...that's what I got to tide me over for now. And of course grass hay!!! The amounts of each feed vary depending on the individual horse, workload, etc. But at the moment my gelding's daily ration (split in 2 feedings) is 2lbs oats, 4lbs alfalfa, 1/2lb RG (or rice bran), and for Flax he gets a Smartpak supplement in the mornings. He's never looked better. |

Same. Mine also gets Bermuda grass but he eats that last. ;) |

Location: CTX | Renew Gold and Omnis cubes for the young crowd, and Purina SR and Omnis for my old mare.
I don't like pouring a lot of grain to them.... unfortunately my oldie didn't keep her weight with the RG so I went back to the SR for her. |
