i saw on facebook where 2 little girls had the there reins  snap thru the panels and were standing on the horses back  the adults were taking the pictures

instead of worring about barrel  think there should be do and don.t  and for me this is right up there on the don.t list

just venting

Oh my goodness. A friend and I were JUST talking about this yesterday. That and asking them to lie down and standing on their bellies. Idk why, but it bothers me. And I might get flamed for this but...Like, great you taught your orde a trick, doesn't mean he is really broke... There's about 1000 other things I'd look for when purchasing a horse before even caring about that.

Something that I see a lot that worries me is horses in trailers going down the road with the windows dropped and their heads hanging out.

Don't think it can't happen.  Just last week at the BBR finals a horse came flying down barn row dragging a gate.

That made me remember when I was about 12, my sister and I tied a horse up to a hay feeded. That horse took off with that feeder bouncing along behind her. She jumped the neighbor's fence but the feeder didn't . That was probably the only thing that saved her and us. Funny now but wasn't then.
