I have a mare, she is by Linear
(thoroughbred
) out of a daughter of Dash Ta Fame.
She is pretty fine boned and she has very flat feet, so I need a stud to add some bone and GOOD feet. I have really learned the importance of that characteristic in the last year :
)
I would like to breed her to a son of Frenchmans Guy. Just to get some "rate," natural turn, etc.
She's had some colts by FWOTR, they're nice.
On my list is A Smooth Guy, Frenchmans Easy Doc, First Down French, Frenchmans Fabulous.
I haven't totally ruled out something like Irish Pay, Streakin Boon Dox, French Streaktovegas, Blazin Jetolena.
Thoughts?
I haven't saw all of these studs in person.. so it makes my decision difficult!

I like several that you mentioned. Guys Piece Ofthe Pie is a proven 1D/Futurity money earner and also a sire. Future Fortunes and stands for $1000
He'll add some serious bone. I have seen a few of the Frenchman's Easy Doc offspring as he stands just an hour and a 1/2 from em. They take after the cowside for bone, small feet and refined. But very nice otherwise.

Anything sunfrost has good feet! I havent seen any of those personally either but from pictures
(and my personal favs
) I would say first down french or French streaktoVegas.

those are both nice options also!
I will probably have to pass on the frenchmans easy doc. Small feet just isn't something that I want to risk. You never know what your going to get.. but I'd just rather breed to something hoping to make an improvement!

If you want another option for a BIG frenchmans guy son...check out Guys Real Deal. I had a filly by him last year that was very impressive. He is throwing lots of really nice horses.
