I'm riding an fx3 Martin with an 8" gullet right now. It works for my 3 horses but not so much for me.

I'm looking at a FQHB Triple Creek. I like the way they ride, but a semi bar did not work at all on one of my horses (he is also for sale so I'm not terribly concerned about him, but he isn't sold yet).

Does anyone have experience in both trees who can comment on the chance that it would work?

I have a FQHB Triple Creek and I really like the saddle but it was pretty big for my cutting bred horse. Granted, I bought the saddle when he was 4 and it looked like he was going to fill out a lot more but never worked out. I think it would work out great for a mutton withered horse with a broad back.

Gotcha, I know the semi bar they offer was too narrow an angle through the bars for my narrowest horse.

I have good friends and we're taking a detour on the way home tomorrow to try one of hers on.
