What do you think of these TB lines? I've heard of Storm Cat and Northern Dancer horses doing good in the barrel pen but I could be wrong...Good and bad opinions welcomed!

I thought storm cat was a distance runner not a sprinter.

Damascus, Alydar and Alysheba were are incredible horses but distance runners. They sired huge, long srrided horses. I am fsmiliar with the other names but not withh what they sired as far as potential barrel horses.

I've never cared for the feedback on the dis
positions of the Storm Cats.

I have an appendix mare that goes to Storm Cat about as far back as yours does. But, she's running/cow quarter horse on the bottom, so may not be a very good indicator of typical Storm Cat traits.
However, the ****y attitudes stereotype definitely comes through in my mare. I've learned a whole new level of patience with her.
But, she's smart, and she can flat fly. Surprisingly, she got a lot of fast acceleration, which is shocking because she's pretty thoroughbred-looking. I knew she'd be fast on the straightaways, but she's turning into a heck of a barrel horse.
