Just sent hair samples off to Animal Genetics to check for PSSM1 and to Simply Equine to do a horse hair analaysis. Will let you guys know the results!
Calling the vet to get an appointment for a blood draw as well.

I received the results back this morning and he tested n/n for PSSM1 so he does not have that!
In the meantime I have switched him to straight alfalfa and added vit E and alcar to his diet. He already gets Magnesium. Its been raining like crazy here so won't be able to ride him to see if theres any difference for a few days.

I still need to get bloodwork done to check for PSSM2, for the elevated CK & AST levels anyways.
I will send off a hair or blood sample for PSSM2 testing when the test comes out in a month or so.

I know you'll be SO glad to figure out what's going on, and I pray for his sake and yours that it happens fast!
