| I know the ideal thing is to have a carport or barn to park it in/under. But other than that how do you keep it looking good? Prevent black streaks, fading, etc

I wash mine by hand too but wow, if I did it every time I used it, I would have to take a vacation day from work as it's not a 30 minute job! Do you have any time-saving advice when washing?
Honestly though, the "acid" wash at the truck wash is the only thing that really makes it look brand new again. |

I've found that if I do it all the time its faster then letting it get dirty. If you let it sit outside and let everything bake on its harder to get off. TO the people that wash it once a year at a truck wash.....that would put me over the edge. It has to be clean. |

It gets washed if it's dirty. It doesn't get off blacktop though so that's rarely needed. Acid washing more than once or twice a year isn't good for aluminum.
I work 60-70 hours a week, am married, keep three ridden, all the stall care, all the other hauling for maintenance, shoeing, etc. I've got other things to send me off the edge. |

wow And who said I'm acid washing more than once a year? I don't do acid at all. |

| Take it to the truck was regularly. Acid wash once a year as per Elite. With all the mud we have had recently, it is hard to keep them clean. |

| I spray the mud off when I fill my water tanks. Itll get a good wash before it gets winterized. We live on gravel and travel it a bit so trying to keep it much cleaner than that is kind of a losing battle. I'm doing good if I can remember to close the LQ Windows so the interior doesn't get filthy. |
