My mare is really hard to fit...she has a wide and straight back(so doesnt need alot of rock). I finally found a barrel saddle that fits. Its a charmayne james cactud saddle. I would like to find a close contact english saddle that has the same type of fit. Any suggestions? ??

Look into to Bates or Black Country's Dante Jump Saddle.  The UK made ones do better for the flat backed wide horses IMO.

Bates are great saddles with the changable gullet systems. I also like Pessoa saddles with the interchangeable gullets.

I would go with a Bates hands down if I had the money! Changeable gullets are really nice and they are very comfortable. When I competed in English I bought a Wintec which also has the changeable gullets because I wasn't as into English as I was with Western events. The Wintec is a good saddle and is similar to the Bates, it is just synthetic instead of leather. It's a cheaper option.

since your probrably not competing professionally Id go with  Wintec to. We have several .. and fit most horses and have a changable gullet system. They are cheaper but comfortable for rider and horse... We ride all our youngsters in them because they fit anything... and use our custom Henigs on our own horses or competing..
Are you going to be jumping ? if not maybe try a dressage saddle? you might find you like it alot better then a All purpose..
