Elite Veteran Posts: 725	This year the flies are worse then ever and even with sheets, boots, and spray the horses are getting eaten alive. Our feedlot cattle all have fly tags and the flies don't even bother them. So I was wondering have you ever used cattle fly tags for horses? I checked the ingredients and they're all safe for horses, while I wouldn't pierce it through their ear I could make up some kind of way to tie it in their tail or mane. Ideas or suggestions??

Elite Veteran Posts: 729 Location: south central usa	Most of the ones I've seen have been on halters...the way the tag works is that the animal swings its head around to get the flies off and ends up rubbing the tag on its body transferring the chemical to keep the flies off
