has anyone ever used kernel seed oil and dmso for a sweat on a leg? I have a mare with an old suspensory injury and was told to sweat it with that. I typically sweat with dmso and furacin. I have no clue where to even find kernel seed oil. He said that is an old race track trick and it works amazing.

RE: kernel seed oil
I was once told to take a big chaw of tobacco and when it got to spittin good .. slap it on horses leg and double tie it on with my neckerchief ...
Did it work ... no.. because I was using the wrong brand of tobacco ..
Damage to a lower suspensory is almost a lost cause trying to fix so horse can still be competitive ...... the strain is too much ... so better to have an easy going trail riding horse that doesn't irritate the old injury ..
GOOD LUCK ..
