When feeling burned out
With God all things are possible
Posts: 3917
When feeling burned out , go back to the basics of your life in Christ.
Have you let the weight of the world settle on your shoulders unaware rather than shift the weight of the world over to The Lord? Are you disappointed that the world isn't providing you the happiness you seek rather than trusting The Lord to give you His joy? Are you struggling with doubts and fears about the purpose and meaning of your life rather than finding your fulfillment in The Lord?
It may well be time for you to take stock of your life and return to basics. The basics for any Christian are threefold; God's Word, spend time every day in God's Word. Godd's Word never causes us to feel exhausted, frustrated, anxious or fretful. God's Word brings peace, hope, rest, and soundness of heart and mind.
Prayer:. Spend time every day talking to God. Tell Him how you feel. Thank Him for the good things of the past. Ask Him for the things your need. develop a walking and taking relationship with The Lord.
Fellowship with other believers: volunteer your services in an area where you can share your talents and gifts. Share God's Word help others to follow His path.
Matthew 6:33 seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
Back off everything that you are doing and reappraise your life.
Giving God the control over your life is ultimately giving Him the authority to act as He desires to act. With the authority must come responsibility. We must also be willing to give God the responsibility for the outcome.
Above all it takes willingness to see others grow in the faith and their ability to trust God to work on their behalf.
Decide in yourself , you are going to be obedient to God, no matter what happens in life.
For it is WITH God all things are possible
Have a BLESSED Tuesday!
Take a deep breath, let it out slow. In with the new out with the old.
Peace, joy, hope and love dear friends
Father God guide me today to do all things that bring glory and honor to You Amen
