| I heard he sustained an injury during his NBHA Youth run. I didn't realize it resulted in his death. Very sad. |

Location: Foot of the Smoky Mtns, East Tennessee | Broke his pelvis I believe. We were watching his run when it happened. We knew something was broke. It was heart breaking. Tyler got him pulled up as soon as it happened. Prayers for everyone who loved him. :( |

Location: Georgia | Heartbreaking. I ran against him on a regular basis. When I saw him come off the trailer I knew I had to run fast that day...just to get in the 3D. It didn't matter who was on his back, he was always a contender. He was an amazing horse. Such a tragic loss for the barrel racing community. Prayers for all of his connections. |

Location: South Central Florida | It really was heartbreaking. I was there also, very hard to tell what was going on. I really don't know why they didn't bring in a trailer. He walked from mid arena out and we were sitting at the 3rd barrel. It looked like he almost went down a few times trying to walk out. You just knew it was really bad. I wish we knew for sure what happened. I've heard pelvis broke, and heard stifle injury. If it was the Pelvis, I wonder if it broke while he was running? Can that happen? He didn't fall, just hit a barrel, but it happens so fast you can't really see. He would not put his rear left foot down. I was hoping it was something in the foot, maybe fixable. I can only imagine how heartbreaking for the owners and the rider. I prayed for him and them all night. Next morning when I saw the post, I prayed even harder. No one wants to go through this but it seems even worse for such an amazing animal. |

Yes they can. We had a race horse that broke his during a race. But we didn't realize it until much later. But he wasn't turning either. I ran into the jockey a few years later and got to talking to him about it. He said he heard something give a loud pop and knew it wasn't right so he pulled him up. |

| I know first hand what happened, he sustained a broken pelvis, and died before they could get him to auburn, internal bleeding. It was very hard for Tyler.
He definitely will be missed. |

Thank you so much for posting. I can't stop thinking about him. I have not seen him in person in a couple of years, and as he turned the first, I remember think, dang...I see why he wins so much, that horse can flat fly...seconds later it was over. I was physically sick. As sad as I am for the owners, I keep thinking about the young man. He will be in my prayers for months. |
