I know there have probably been other threads like this, but here it is again.

So does anyone feed this to their horses? What type of results do you get? I have been looking for something to keep my colt's sunbleached coat up to par now that he is on pasture 24/7. Also, would like something to help balance out his diet since he is on grass pasture. He does get a daily ration of whole oats and cracked corn, and he is currently on the Gleam and Gain supplement for Smart Pack. He has been on it for two months, and it is "okay" but I'm kind of looking for that all around supplement to help him along. Also because I am starting to get into heavier training, I was really looking into Formula 1 Noni.

Also, I know the Blue label has hydraulic acid but since my horse is only 5 and hasn't had the wheels ridden off him or anything (He didn't really get started on the pattern till he was 4 1/2 and he's about 5 1/2 years now and we are just starting to push a little bit..does he NEED the hydraulic acid for support? Is that the ONLY difference between the two? Or would the regular Formula 1 do? Also is there any other supplements you guys use along with the Formula 1? I am also looking for a Formula 1 dealer. Thanks for the responses!

1. 5 is not really a colt
2. Feed thru joint supplements don't work
3. I don't know of anything that will fix a bleached hair coat during the summer other than stalling during the day.
4. Noni is withc doctor stuff.
5. I would nix the corn and feed oats and maybe some flax.

What is "hydraulic acid"?

Noni is a perfect example of quackery. If I had to come up with a product that demonstrates all the hallmarks of quackery, Noni would be on my short list. It operates on a MLM scheme. It claims to be a "boost" in a wide variety of ways....immune, brain, liver, kidney, skeletal system, etc.... It is unsupported by sound, scientific research. It is only supported by anecdotes and endorsements. It has a certain exotic appeal.

Save your money.

Agree to the above. I had asked about it a while back as a dealer gave me a jug to try. I saw absolutely not one bit of difference.

Just wondering how you think it operates on an MLM scheme?? You do not have to buy into the product. You buy the product that is it. No start up fees, no sign up fees, and you get your product. We as reps do get a commission for those that we sell it to. But a car sales person or any other sales person gets commissions off of the products they sell. We dont get money from having so many people under us.. I have all my horses on it and we even have our bucking bulls on it. I can promise you, if it didnt work, we wouldnt spend the money. We order it in a 55 gallon drum because we use it so much. Everyone has their opinions and that is how the world goes round. I have taken a few horses off of it to see if I can see a change. And I can say honestly... they did change. I couldnt get them back on it fast enough!!

Sorry, "hyaluronic acid" I spelled it wrong. It is essential for lubrication in joints.

Secondly, yes I know he is not a Colt. I just call him that because I have had him since he was 11 months old. Kind of hard for me to think of him as a gelding. lol

Last, I know some people that do use it.. and they are very reputable people. People that run to WPRA, and win, and have multiple horses on it. Just wanted to get other personal opinions on the product, because those people are very busy and are hard to get a hold of.

Thank you.
