I have a horse that has soft tissue injury down in his right hind hoof.  He also has caudal heel pain on his front hooves.  He has been barefoot and I live in sand.  But I recently had him shod and he seems to be doing better.  He is kept stalled on rubber mats over night and during the heat of the day, turned out 4 hours in the morning & 4 hours in the evening.  I have an old pair of PHT Magnetic Boots, velcro barely stays closed anymore, that I have been putting on his back feet.  I think these are helping since he is not stocking up near as much as he used to.  I am wanting to buy a new pair of boots but can't decide between these two.  Of course the BOT are 1/4 the price of the MagnaCu, but want to get the best product for increased circulation & healing.  Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks

MagnaCu bells will be your best friend, and you can use they all over the legs if you are creative ;) Seriously my favorite product! They are really amazing.

I love my PHT bell boots, use the heck out of them, even on hocks and plan on getting the MagnaCu.. You can get the velco replace on your PHT's I did on one boot since my horse riped it off one night. I would just stick with the PHT's since you know that they are working.

Bumping this up for any additional feedback or suggestions.

I still haven't bought any theraputic type bell boots.  I have read a few scientific based studies on the effectiveness of magnets, which say there really isn't any truth to it.  But what I CAN buy into is that the warming effect of any type of boot around the coronary band may potentially increase circulation.  Does anyone have any actual theraputic results with soft tissue injury healing using either PHT or BOT product?  Wondering if I could get same results using rubber bell boots?  Just looking for any way to increase circulation in the hoof.

Thanks!

I have both and here's my theory:

If I have a horse with a known "issue"- i.e. pain/injury somewhere, I think the PHT is leaps and bounds better.  I'm the worst skeptic in the world and I KNOW the PHT works.

I like the BOT for helping healthy horses feel good.  IMO, the BOT just makes them feel like they are warmed up- muscles feel relaxed and "softer-" in a good way. I also like BOT for a horse that tends to stock up when stalled or trailered.

I have both. I never noticed any difference using the BOT, within minutes of putting the MagCU bells on the leg is noticeably tighter like it is after being iced.

I'm sure both are great...I only have BOT right now but I put them on last night because my gelding's leg looked a little swollen (he's had a previous suspensory tear) so he wore them overnight and his legs looked awesome in the morning. I was very happy!!

When you consider the versatility and longevity of our MagnaCu Bell Boots.  The cost is very low.  You can use them on pasterns, hocks, knees and feet.  They are my go to product.
There is so much evidence of healing with the copper and the magnets.  Our website is loaded with info :

Go with the MagnaCu hands down. I just did not see a difference when i used any of the BOT products on my horses and when it comes down to it, i just didnt like the way the therapy worked. The PHT makes so much more sence.

What many people seem to miss is that with MagnaCu you get increased circulation without using HEAT.  Copper infused fabrics have a huge list of benefits for the body.  Copper helps balance the body temperature and reduce swelling/inflammation without using heat or chemicals.  This is the only therapy that I have found to be safe to use 24/7 year round with no risk of overheating....and proven results.

I'm wading into new territory for me, and I've looked at old threads for help. My specific situation is torn suspensory. First vet misdiagnosed, so past the point of some things I might have tried earlier in the situation. I know nothing of PHT or BOT except what I read from y'all on here. Even if Sonny isn't going to be rideable again, I want to help him be comfortable to be my big colored pasture ornament. Advice and/or similar situations? Makes me sick seeing him limp on that leg.

I love BOT for chronic issues/loosening muscles but it has to be left on for long periods to work. I also was taught not to heat injuries, so for something you're trying to heal, I would try PHT (disclaimer: I have not tried PHT yet but hope to if they have their Black Friday sale).
