| Hi everyone! So I have read all the great reviews on cur ost and as far as I can tell its the best supplement out there. But it's quite spendy...
My question for everyone is this... for my horses situation with allergies the total support is what is recommended. But would feeding green instead still have benefit? Trying to be more cost effective as I am a college student.
Also any other information you have is appreciated
Thanks!

It all depends on the level of damage already done etc. Each horse is different! I know a few that do just fine on only Total. Good luck! |

Location: Silver Lake, MN | I know its a lot of money up front but I will say once you get on the maint dose it is well worth the cost to get there. My feed prices dropped as well when I switched to just oats and flax so that helped some. My PSSM mare looks and feels better than she ever has and I have tried a lot of different supplements. |

Location: 31 lengths farms | Does the EQ Plus have the allergy properties in it? Its a bit less expensive and from what I was told is a better option than the Total Support if your horse isn't an easy keeper. |

I had my old gelding on Plus, and didn't read the 'easy keeper' part prior and he got so fat on it! LOL He always had a random 'warm up cough' and that went away on it, but the weight was crazy, and eventually he stopped eating it. I contacted Dr. Schell and he reminded me that he may not 'need' Plus, which is why he stopped eating it, and I moved him to Total and he isn't as fat, zero cough, and doing fabulous on it. |

Yep, the feed bill drop alone is worth it! |

Location: The barn...where else? SW Missouri | I know it's pricey, but the total support is so worth the money. My mare looks and feels so good on it. I let her go a month without feeding it to her and her hair went dull and she just didn't look as good. She is a harder keeper and it just helps keep her happy and ready to perform at her best. |

Location: North Dakota | You defaintly need total support for atleast the first few months and you might be able to go down to plus or green depending on how severe the damage is to the lungs. You will not be disappointed. I am a college student as well. I've given up a lot of stuff to be able to afford Cur-OST for my COPD mare but it's worth it because she feels great. I have to go down to less hours this fall at work due to a heavier school load so not sure if I can keep it up but I will do everything I can to keep my mare feeling this good. I also board my horses so my base price didn't change which makes it more difficult but like I said, it is more than worth it. |

Location: Sunny So Cal | THE can make a custom supplement to specifically target allergies like hives and itchy-ness but if you want something more for breathing allergies I would definitely give Pulmon-EZ a try. Works wonders! And I saw custom formulas are on special this month for 20% off |
