I ordered some GastroPlus from Krystal a couple of months ago. Paid roughly $8 for shipping, considering the package size, I don't think it could have been any cheaper.
It didn't work for my horse. She promptly refunded my money, no questions asked. |

I have used Digestzen from DoTerra for a very long time. I just put 3-4 drops in their grain.
Same here, Digestzen from doterra is the way to go. I would also use Aloe vera Juice as well. |

| Here's what I did: Stop spending money on grain if you're feeding grain. Use that money to buy 10 tubes of UlcerGard. Treat for ulcers and start feeding alfalfa and rice bran instead.
They've been off the grain for over a year and have never looked or felt better. |

Already quit feeding grain as well. Alfalfa, beet pulp, and rice bran. |

Just do this ^^^
works well - you don't have quackery behind it and the results will speak for themselves.
Oh yeah and the science is sound ... nothing like trials and stuff to justify sound science.
BONUS - Wyoming Barrel Racer is pretty awesome to work with |

Just a heads up, mine didn't even do well with the beet pulp. I went to straight alfalfa pellets (don't have alfalfa hay...yet), top dressed with Excel Digestive supplement and Platinum CJ.
I know you said you didn't have a lot of cash flow to stick towards it, but I HIGHLY recommend the Excel. |

| Ranitidine is cheap compared to omeprazole and is what I used. I think it was $42 a bottle which lasted approximately 10 days. I treated for 30 days 10 pills, 3x daily or you can do 15 pills 2x daily,if your schedule won't allow 3x. Chopped them up threw them in with his renew gold and oats and he ate them. I slowly weaned him off ranitidine after 30 days reducing dosage and frequency to 2x daily. During this time I added herbs as well to help him even further. I've concocted my own blend and he's been doing well for almost 2 yrs. It's not just about treating the ulcers, it's about management of the horse for long term results. You have to know stress triggers ie grains, stalling, trailering etc and make sure your taking steps to keep them from flaring.
I'm in no way bashing anyone who uses essential oils bc I believe aromatherapy works for some things but to think this cures the ulcers is to good to be true. I'd challenge you to get your horse scoped if your so confident. |
