THE Cushings formula works really well. You can do it in conjunction with any prescribed drug from the vet. My friends just using THE Cushings formula alone and her horse is doing super well! My friend also feeds food that are low in sugar. She also competes on him.

control their diet; decrease sugars. Sweet feed should be avoided and alfalfa given with caution. Don't let them get fat but they can get skinny looking with Cushings so its a hard balance to maintain.

Clip hair in the summer

Be on top of your game when it comes to any sort of foot pain like abscess.

You can also put them on Pergolide (Prascend is the trade name) through your veterinarian.

I feed a supplement from Equeine Science (www.herbs4horses.com) called 'Cushings Blend'.  It has worked really well on my horse.
