I have one that might need a bit change. She's currently in a Sherry Cervi Diamond lifter, short shank with twisted mouthpiece. She doesn't need Any additional bend or rate... Just maybe a step down with some lift-- even better if its forgiving of my hands. Any suggestions?

What if you went to something with a smooth mouthpiece or even changed the curb strap to maybe solid leather or even a piece of clothesline rope?  I know for me, I've played around with curb straps a lot, including how tight/loose they are until it fits that specific horse and my hands - especially if I know the horse will work with this specific bit.

I agree with the above post. I feel that a lot of times it is in the mouthpieces and curb straps. IMO the mouthpiece and curb straps actually come into contact with the horse, the shanks just activate them. If you were looking for something lighter, you could get a bit made from LW, Shallow Creek, or Carolina that has the same shape as the Cervi, but isn't as heavy.
