Ok so it is time to replace my feeding sweatshirt. let me stsart by saying it is VERY OLD and it was well made. it did not pill up nor did hay stick to it not even the tiny flakes of alfalfa! I can not stand a cheap sweatshirt and  I am afraid none of them are any good anymore. does anyone know where to get a really nice one? I do not expect it to be cheap

American Giant has some well made sweatshirts, they do run small though.

Isn't it too hot in California for a sweatshirt? lol j/k

I don't know of a brand, but it seems like sports sweatshirts for major teams are usually good quality. I wonder if L.L. Bean would have some good ones.

Go to a t shirt shop where they do logos and take the sweatshirt with you ..
bet they can identify the mfgr ... you can order one plain ..

I finally did this looking for 100% v neck cotton tshirts ....... the new breathable synthetic materials are awful ... good only for city work out centers ...
they crawl and bind all over your body and snags, tears, rips etc etc

I would bet your old sweatshirt is 100% polished cotton or with no more than 20% rayon mix ...

GOOD LUCK ..

Maybe check a place like L.L. Bean, BassPro, Cabela's, Academy, Camper's World, Carhart, Wrangler.???

It is always says when a favorite pair of jeans, shirt, shoes, whatever no longer can be worn. Nothing else ever seems to compare.

Check Goodwill.  One woman's sweatshirt trash is anothers sweatshirt treasure.

don't laugh but this one is made by fruit of the loom and must be at least 20 yrs old. it was a give away shirt to siemens customers. we had a few because many people did not take one at hubbies work. i guess they did not want seimens on their chest lol. this is the last one. each one I used for like 6-8 yrs solid

I buy Carhart sweatshirts for my husband he has some that are several years old and he wears them daily when it turns off cold. They wash up great and do not pile up.

I have an Under Armor sweatshirt that nothing sticks to.  It's kind of a slicker fabric.

I thought about Under Armor too.  It is a pricey brand, but just may do the trick especially if you want to wear it for many years.
