| John 13:34 I give you a new commandment: that you should love one another. Just as I have loved you, so you too should love one another.
Wherever there is a human being, there is an opportunity for kindness, an opportunity to express love. Even we we have nothing to offer others, in terms of money or possessions, we can give them love and show them kindness. I ,myself,like to call it "PAYING IT FORWARD". If we want to be like Jesus, we need to love others with the same kind of gracious, forgiving, generous, unconditional love He extends to us. Nothing will change your life more dramatically than learning how to love people and treat them well. Love is more than a feeling, or an emotion. IT IS AN ACTION! The Bible makes this point in 1 John 3:18. " Let us not love in theory or in speech but in deed and in teuth( in practice and in sincererity). Clearly, love moves us to take action, not just to theorize or talk. I am amazed when I think and see how often we know the right thing to do, but never get around to doing it. The apostle James said that if we hear the Word of God and don't do it, we deceive ourselves with reasoning that does not agree with the truth. James 1:21-22 Therefore, get rid of all the moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you. Do not merely listen to the word and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.
I challenge you today to make a commitment before God and sincerely in your heart to do at least one thing today for someone.
It may sound simple, but to do it, you will have to think about it and CHOOSE to to it WITH purpose. " if you truly desire to excel in the love was, you must first purpose to fill your mind with kind, loving, unselfish, and generous thoughts. This is an opportunity to practice the " on purpose" PAYING IT FORWARD" . I payed it forward yesterday, paying for the car behind me in drive thru, wrote a note saying HAVE A BLESSED Day, Paying to forward. Just so happened by me doing this I avoided a wreck, that had happened at the red light I was supposed have been at if I had just paid for mine and went on. WOW! The presence of my guardian angel, it brought tears to my eyes, seeing and KNOWING the presence of God AMEN
