| Those of you that use treeless saddles, what pads do you use? Any time I have tried a bob marshall, I felt like it was perched ridiculously high over my horse. What pads work well to keep you closer to your horse, and let the saddle sit lower around your horse? Pictures would be great :) |

| I absolutely love my CSI, Saddleright, and Ortho Equine for my treeless. I've tried a 5star and liked it but I didn't love it |

Location: North of Tulsa, Oklahoma | I ride an Impact Gel with my Bob Marshall. I don't use the felt one though because my horse hates felt. I ride the Navajo impact gel with the fleece underside. |

Location: The best kept secret in TX | Are you sure your BM doesn't have the "perched" option on the saddle? I know they are starting to build them with this option for high withered horses. The pad may not be your problem.
Everyone on the BM Facebook group page seems to like Saddle Right pads under the BM... |

Location: on my horse | I use a classic equine esp with the poron insert. It works well with my mare, she doesn't really have much in the wither department, really laid back shoulder, and round as a barrel. It's really secure and she doesn't have any soreness, ruffled hair, or uneven sweat marks. The channel right down her spine is always dry.
PS. Don't judge our pic too harshly I know everything is a bit too far back'
ETA: I don't have to cut her in half with the cinch to keep everything tight or in place either
