readytorodeo - 2016-10-05 9:24 AM Curost is not for joints. You need a supplement with glucosamine,HA to adequately address the joints. OE Game Changer addresses joint issues and has anti inflammatory properties. Pentosen for the 4 dose load up and then monthly

How much monthly do you dose im?

5 cc's

Girls_Gotta_Jet - 2016-10-04 1:23 PM Injectable Pentosan after the 4 loading doses, it's once per month and typically under $20 an injection. Been using it for years.
You can get Pentosan Gold on Racehorsemeds.com for $119 50ml bottle.

OhMax - 2016-10-04 4:38 PM I plan to add cur-ost to my program before I start to leg them back up in the spring. I've been taking the human version myself and I am impressed. My knees typically bother me a lot, despite doctors telling me nothing is wrong, stretch more, which I do. They feel great now! This past Sunday night I had my knee slammed into a fence post at the end of our heeler box by one of our colts. I was pretty lame on it Sunday night. I took a double dose of cur-ost plus used my pht hock wrap and iced it. I was amazed yesterday morning how much better it felt. Has some fun colors and is sore but I feel like it would have been considerably worse without the cur-ost based on previous injuries. I also like that it is full body maintenance.
I'll second the Cur-OST.  By managing the inflammation in the entire body, joints are less painful as well, resulting in less arthritic change through the years, not to mention the management of other issues resulting from chronic inflammation.  My crew will never be without their Cur-OST!  No longer need a different product for every single issue we deal with (joints, ulcers, digestion, hoof, calmer, etc).  I get all that with the Total Support.

I love the fact that these products weren't originally developed as a business plan, but rather by Dr. Schell to restore his own health.  After his positive results he began implementing it in his practice, also noting very positive changes in his patients based on what customers were saying.  It wasn't until years later the products were actually offered to the public.
I've heard lots of good things about the Cur-OST. And I have very much come to respect your opinion, Herbie! I think I'm going to look further into going that route.
I agree to. Curost addresses inflammation. No inflammation means no joint changes, therefore you don't need the glucosamine etc. Chicken or the egg kind of thing. Having said that, I do have all of mine on Adequan and a glucosamine product because some of them are to far gone. If you start curost when the horse is born that should be all you need. lol

All of this! My entire barn is on Cur-OST and everyone that has touched my horses to work on them have noticed such a positive change.
