Pretty sure I have a sinus and ear infection, don't really want to see a Dr. if I can help it. Any home remidies anyone can suggest? |

Go to a health food store and ask for Garlic or Mullin oil. A few drops in the ear twice daily and it will take care of the ears. Sinus infections I go to my chiro for. They can actually release the pressure in your ears and drain them as well as drain your sinuses with a correct adjustment and releasing pressure points. My Chiro with insurance is $25. Without it's $45. Pretty affordable. So chiro, then oil. You'll be good as new. |

| Netti pot for the sinus infection and flonase, which is now available in generic.
The netti pot will take some practice if you haven't used one before. Use distilled water, I nuke it for 15 seconds or so and by the time I mix in the saline solution and put it in the pot it's just above room temp - room temp still feels cold in my nose and slightly warmed helped break up the junk better. It might take a few sessions over a day or so to get it all cleaned out. Have a full box of tissues ready and be prepared to be grossed out.
I was ready to have sinus surgery, I was having so many miserable sinus infections, anytime my allergies acted up I got one. My doctor had me try this first as the surgery is not always a cure all. My full blown sinus infections are greatly reduced, I use the Flonase in addition to an otc allergy pill whenever I start to get stuffy. I als use the netti pot after we haul to an indoor to ride or I spend a lot of time in dust, no more black boogers!
Can't help on the ear infection other than to say if you relieve the pressure on your sinuses that could resolve itself as well. |

| I have used it many times i LOVE it. I am someone who frequently gets UTI's and it has saved me a ton of $$ and time to get a simple RX rather than going to the clinic. |

isn't a UTI a urinary tract infection? How does the Neti Pot help that? |
