LOL So my mare who has hard heats has been on Regumate since June. Mind you in heat or not she is a gritty witch that will actually clock as fast, if not FASTER, IN HEAT... but is a ROYAL BIZ-NATCH. For instance she got her BRAND NEW blanket on last night, second night with it... I found it laser shredded into 2 pieces on opposite sides of her pen this morning... she was quite proud of herself. Vet told me to take her off Regumate as soon as she finished her October heat, which was last Friday....Sunday she came right back in with a vengeance. Vet told me to put her on some previcox as sometimes the heat after regumate is one last hoo rah and can be worse than regular heats... Also she cycles so strongly that regumate NEVER kept her OUT of heat, but shortened it from say a week to 2-3 days and it was much more mild... Waiting to hear back from vet this morning if I can keep her on regumate year round.... I'm trying some herbs so we will see if that helps... She is 11 and is a pro at this.... any ideas?????
