I agree with Crossspur about the low hocks, good slope to his shoulders, nice gaskin muscles, and I like that he has a short back, and still liking that kind eye and sweet face, I bet he really loves all the attention he can get..Hes just a pretty fella..

To me he looks a little weak in the hip for my liking, a little too heavy in the front end.

From the pictures he looks a little under himself in the back end, I cannot draw a straight line from the point of hip hocks and ankle. To me not what I look for, but he should be able to stop.

I do like the long forearm and short cannons on the front end

Oh boy can he stop! He is very naturally hind endy, he uses his rear end beautifully. Super light and easy, can spin a hole in the ground, seems very smart. He is not front endy but may be because he was broke very well. He's a big big mover, long strided, not the smoothest but not the roughest either!

Thanks everyone for your opinions and information! I know he's not perfect but he's very talented so far and seems to have a great head on his shoulders.

Much better pictures,
I have a few things I don't like about him, but I like most of him. I've yet to find a horse that perfect yet. He looks like an awful sweet horse.

Any idea how he got the scar on his cannon? Looks like it would be a fun place to keep clean and doctored...

They have barbwired where he came from and he got caught in it, he has another place under fetlock where it got him too, sucks about the scar but all cosmetic. I just got 2 new sets of BOT quick wraps I get to test out on him!! He was a day working horse that's how they break them, she told me she rode him 9 miles the day before I got him, so he has many trail miles in the woods too.

His personality would get you, he's very sweet and seems very smart
