wyoming barrel racer - 2017-02-06 2:38 PM Are they hard on your furniture? I read some reviews on several models and I have nice wood cabinets and furniture. No pets in the house but I am OCD and would love to vacuum daily but lack of time. These little things look fun, but I would be miffed if it bounced around off my Entertainment center and book cases, table legs etc.
I watched their little info video and it looks like it has a sensor that prevents it from crashing into stuff...

The video also answered my questions about stairs and "no-access" settings- you can program it to stop at "virtual walls."

Thanks! Since I don't have a pool out here in COLD Wyoming ( so no pool boy) I'm going to give my Roomba some hot manly name.

I hated mine. It would go into rooms, hit the doors and lock itself in. It would also go under furniture, get stuck and die. I tried to program to run during certain times because it was so loud, but it just decided to run whenever it felt like. I got so sick and tired of coming home and having to look for it. It's much easier to just run the vacuum 15 minutes every day.

It does for the first little while until it maps out where everything is placed. Mine got stuck a few times under the sofa too. After it doesn't as much unless you move your furniture. Then it starts mapping all over again.
