I am having issues with top line development. I think my largest barrier might be conformation, but any advice would be appreciated. I seems that no matter how long or short my pad is I end up with rough hair over the lumbar and kidney area. I don't have dry spots, just the roughed up hair. Is a BioFit Pad the answer? I have rode 3 different Martin saddles with gullets ranging from 6 1/2 to 7 1/4, a Teskey Patrick Smith and a Circle Y LL treeless saddle. I generally ride a 1" CSI pad but have experimented with Saddle Right, Zone, and a 3/4 Cactus Felt pad & shims.
