Location: North Dakota -> Colorado | Where is the best/most bang for your buck place to take a mare to get embryo transfer done. Considering biting the bullet and having a mare ET'd. |

| Royal Vista Southwest in Purcell Ok.
They are pricy, but you get what you pay for in the long run!
Shorter time there & higher % rates.
Couldn't be more happy with the staff, Drs, & owners.
Always there to answer your calls & even the attending vet will call you personally.
A+! |

I agree with this. They run a top notch facility there and have friends who have used them. All positive experiences. |

This is where it's interesting to me, when I ET'ed my mare last summer I got told by numerous people to aviod Royal Vista. Most of them told me to go to Dr. Joe Noble who is down the road instead.
My shoer was talking last week about how crazy most of the mares are that come from Royal Vista, mine was a little unsure the first few weeks she was here but now my one year old goes and pets her and she just drops her head and loves the attention. |

Well I do know most of those mares are donated. Some of them could have a past that isn't necessarily known. They don't care much about that piece, it is more about physical characteristics. A friend of mine had it done last year and her two were great. I met a few of them when I was there also and they all seemed pretty quiet. |

Location: NE TX | In North Dakota I'm not sure. How far are you willing to drive?
Vista Equine in CO, Colorado State University would be closer to ND. Vista Equine used to be the same as RVSW in OK but they split. They still use the same methods.
Hartman Equine Repro in TX (basically the grandfather of equine Repro) I'd call them and ask if they know of anyone close to you. If you don't wanna haul that far.

Location: Adopt a homeless pet - www.petfinder.com! | I didn't use Royal Vista SW for ET, but they bred my mare and foaled her out for me and I was very pleased with the entire experience. All of the staff were great to work with. |
