| Magnetic blankets and wraps are all the rage. Do they really work? Have you noticed a difference with use? |

Location: Ky | They work to take money out of your hands. And they work anecdotally. There is no independent scientific studies that show that they work.
Never been anything to show they hurt either.
Kinda like the phycic thing. If you believe it works, it does.

I had one horse who reacted bad to magnetics.
Put the magnetic blanket on 15 min later he acted colicky, rolling, sweating , kicking at belly.
Removed the blanket and the symptoms went away immediately. |

Simply for curiosity sake (as I have never owned a magnet blanket), after that did you have the magnets' polarities checked. I have heard that if the polarities are reversed or wrong it can cause issues. |

No I didn't have the polarities checked. Only the one horse reacted to the blanket, no other horse did.
I did stop using them shortly after, didn't want any more adverse reactions |

Location: Under The Big Sky Of Texas | I love my PHT Blanket and bell boots, you have to let your horses get use to them slowly, my blanket I would use it about 15 mins a day untill my horses got use to the feel of it and now I can leave it on them all day or night if I feel like they need it and my bell boots the same way, now I know theres magnets out there that can be bad for your horses so look into them really good, PHT is the only products I trust..  |

Man no kidding jd&ez, I hate it when my horses get a barrel stuck to them and I would really hate to see my horse stuck to the side of a trailer but I have a aluminum so no chance of that happening. Thank goodness for the aluminum trailers.  |

LOL, Well I did get stuck a few times when I was riding by some steel trailer's now that was a sight trying to pull my horse off, finally I got some help when some young men came walking by..I dont know what I would have done if I didnt get any help, it was getting close to my time to run..  |

I have arthritis in my left hand and my thumb got so sore that I couldn't grip anything. I bought a cheap magnetic bracelet and it helped. I bought a Sabona mag bracelet and it takes 90% of the pain away. I take it off when I shower and if I forget to put it back on, within about 12 hours my thumb will start hurting like crazy.

They increase blood flow.
The lack of bloodflow to an area usually causes inflammation that in return causes pain.
Through my barrel racing years, when something would happen that I would get hurt, I would take my PHT blanket and wrap myself up into it.

Location: California | I just recently got a Back on Track blanket and front leg wraps. I have used the wraps on a horse that stocks up really badly with great success and I put them on my mare's front legs when she was sore and noticed a big difference. I haven't used the blanket enough to know yet. |

Location: In The Snow, AZ | I got the BOT knee brace as my knees are junk. They hurt and pop and get swollen after riding. The brace has really helped with the inflammation. I haven't used it for about a week, and was actually just telling my husband I needed to start using it again because my knee is hurting again.
Hubby uses the BOT back brace from time to time, and says it helps, and he's not one to believe in those sorts of remedies.
I have a professionals choice magnetic blanket for my horse. Not sure it does anything but they aren't as good of quality as the BOT or PHT blankets.
Just got a set of BOT hock wraps. Haven't used them a whole lot, but both mates seem to warm up easier after applying them for a while beforehand. |

| I use a Professional's Choice magnetic bell boot...on my shoulder that cramps up while working on the computer. In about 2 hours the tightness in my shoulder is relaxed and it moves a lot better.
I also use a magnetic blanket on my mare before our runs and she works a lot better if I have used it first vs. if I forgot it. |

any body soreness I find, I use the hood or blanket on the horses
BOT isnt magnetic, it uses ceramic to reflect the body heat back in.
Does BOT work??? Yes, Personally I felt like on MY HORSE BOT hyped him up and PHT calmed him down.
