| YES! We ALL need to reset, make uturns, be rebooted now and then.
David found the reset button for a life gone wrong. A prayer for Repentance. Psalm 51:1-9 HAVE MERCY, upon me, O God, according to Yôur lovingkindness; according to the multitude of Yôur tender mercies, blot out my transgressions. Wash me throughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. For I acknowledge my transgressions, and my sin is always before me.
RESET button, REBOOTING life, it built in God's unique operating system called " MERCY". All the good things that come our way are gifts from God, including His mercy. The Pslamist shows us that the reset, reboot button for God's mercy is confession of sin, old fashion repentance. remember , 1 John 1:9 " If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness." We were born in sin and have continue to sin since our birth. That sin is called depravity, and we have Adam to thank for it. The desire for the Pslamist was RESTORATION, to be purged from the filth he felt in his sinfulness. We ALL have been in this spot, probably more times than we care to admit. The answer is to REMEMBER His MERCY and to PUSH the RESET or REBOOT button of confession and repentance! For it is WITH God ALL things ARE possible. Jesus said, I AM, the way, the truth and the life.
Father God, guide me today to do all things that will bring glory and honor to You AMEN AMEN. Have a VERY BLESSED Wednesday ALL!!
