I'm on the hunt for a new prospect... I really like her pedigree... wish I could find this in a 3/4 yr old. Β Does anyone see anything negative about it? She is really put together well.Β

ETA: She comes from the Open Box Rafter Ranch in SD. Anyone know anything about them?Β

We owned a French Flit out of a Dr Nick Bar mare (Not the same dam as the one you are looking at though)

Couldn't say enough good things about her. Truly a very nice horse. Built to last, quiet enough for a youth, competitive enough for a serious adult.

We have purchased many from the Hunts (Open Box Rafter Ranch)

So you think there is enough run there?

I've really followed their breeding program here lately because they have some nice studs. BUT I too have wondered from time to time if they have enough run.

I agree.  You will never see a succesfull Dr Nick Bar, Flit Bar or Frenchman/sun frost horse.  Everybody knows it is a proven fact that they are just too slow for barrel racing. And UGLY I might add.

That's good to hear; I've looked through their past sale catalog and am pretty interested in picking something up in the future.

I joke clearly...beautiful horse.  The Hunts have a great program with some of the biggest names and bloodlines available.  These horses will have zero problem shutting off the clock, and you could stare at them all day long!
