Our new filly by Frenchmans Maximum! We are all in disagreement on what shade of palomino she will be when she matures...what do y'all think?
Edited to add my husband thinks she might be sorrel...

At this point baby could either be Sorrel or Palomino 50/50. Considering she's already Palolmino I doubt she will turn Sorrel. I might be wrong I am no expert by any means. The coat color calculator said that unless you know whether the stud and mare are Agouti or Silver Dilution carriers, you have a 50/50 shot at sorrel or Pali.
Does she have a red stripe down her back? Looks like she has a bit of red in her mane. She may be a Dunalino
(Palomino Dun
). That would be fun.

A dunalino would be awesome! But no dorsal stripe, just solid palomino, but you're right she does have a bit of a red tint.

I am thinking a dark Pali. I know someone who had a filly that color, very peach looking. She told everyone it was a red dun lol I told her dark Pali and as a three year old currently she's a gorgeous sooty Pali.

Awesome! I prefer the look of a golden or dark palomino to a really pale one so glad to hear that's how she may turn out. Thanks!

She's definitely a palomino - as dark as her dam is, I say medium to dark palomino.

Look close in the hairs of the mane....and look close around the eyes and eyebrows. Pretty accurate. Definitately don't think sorrel

Everyone thought my pinkie baby would be sorrel but he is a golden palomino. You can often see white hairs in the very base of the mane that gives away their true color
