Subject: Trailer Load Preference?

Beginning to look at trailers and I would like a full back tack which would mean a side or reverse load.  I am leaning toward a reverse load but they are difficult to find.  Looking for opinions and pros/cons of both.
TIA

I wanted the big back tack without the extra length of the reverse load, so I went with a side load. The only downside I see so far is I only have a half ramp instead of a full, but I don't see it being a problem so far.

There are so many factors... it really comes down to preference. On a reverse load your LQ will be flipped too, meaning if you have your door on the CS, that is now the short wall instead of the long wall. To put the door on the SS you're putting it where the black water tank hoses are and if you're hooked up anywhere to dump you're stepping over the hoses. Also, the ramp can be steeper on a reverse load depending on what length you do. Some ramps are only 52" tall, others can be up to 60" tall. You'll want to make sure there is a removable center post there too so you have more space.

On a side rear load, the last stall is usually 44-50" wide to allow the angle to back a horse out.

Hmmm...never even thought of the issue of the hoses....I'm rarely set up where there are sewer hookups but that gives me another thing to to think about. Thanks!
