She has already become attached to her gelding who was a stud until he was 10years old and did breed mares. He is 19 now. Anyway she had to take him to the vet today and when she got back the mare started winking, no urine or discharge, just tail raised a little. The gelding didn't drop or even pay her much attention. Was she checked in foal at 14 days? If she bought her as a bred broodmare with no real check, I'd get her checked to make sure she took. At least that way your friend will know if she's open so they can breed her again.
