| I went out to go for a quick ride and my mare is in full swing heat-wise. I couldn't get her to leave our studdy gelding. I have had it with her being a pain in the rear. LOL I know it has been posted many times but what do you guys do for your witchy mares? I want to breed her down the road. Any help will be greatly appreciated!!

REGUMATE!!!!!!!
I was wanting to try it, is it expensive? |

Location: OK | A little old time but implant in the neck, inexpensive and works on some not on others. Find a vet that knows what they are doing because I have been told that placement of the implant is important. Who Knows why of if it is really important.

| Flit, how do give your mare her Regumate? I really just need it for competition, that is where she is a complete ***. I heard supplement it 5-6 days out and continue until the competition is over or feed it daily like the label says. I really don't know.
I was looking in on the implant in the neck, but does it "wear off" or "dissolve" over time?
Has anyone tried Mare Magic from TSC or the marble? |

Location: OK | Implant lasts 3 to 4 months, My vet charges $30.00 Like I said it works well on some but not all.
Mare magic is raspberry leaf. You can buy raspberry Leaf in bulk from E Bay for about 1/2 the mare magic price. I did not see a lot of difference using it.

Location: Arkansas | Laura's mare would hunt for gelding, stud, males of any sort at barrel runs. She put her on the Silver Lining for mares and it has made such a difference in her attitude and her attentiveness to her job. |

Location: Missouri | Animal element has a mare formula that has worked wonders for several mares I know. It is all natural sometimes you have to play with the dosage amount until you find what works for your mare. But it does not harm them if you want to breed later and it does NOT take any run out of them Great stuff, PM if you have any questions |

Regumate has to be given daily. I use the liquid and squirt it into her mouth. 10cc once daily! Yes it IS EXPENSIVE. Runs about 100.00 a month. A 1000cc bottle is 300 from my vet. But to see my mare relaxed, not in screaming pain, bumping on trailer and fences, all so worth it. You can't give it on and off. Once you stop they come into heat in about 48 hours and it is a HUGE heat. Like all the ones they missed combined. lol But I do have to take her off of it winter time so I stop end of november and start back march 1 |
