Collection gurus come forth

Me and my horse have been working pretty hard to being more rounded and essentially together in the true sense of collection and he has really started doing well with rounding out his back on a loose rein at the trot, really stretching out his legs, and having lots of energy in his trot. Essentially the correct term/form of "long trotting" I suppose. Now keep in mind as I type this that I have a 3 month old baby so my body is still getting back into the swing of things
(and I have worked hard to be getting back in shape and close my diastasis recti so my core isn't obliterated
) BUT, I am having difficulty sitting this great trot! His trot is so full of energy and rounded that I end up posting way to high and end up smacking my butt on his back more times that I'd care to share. I feel like he's lifting my so much. I personally ride with short stirrups, I'm also a short person, and I don't know if that's hindering myself? while at a trot and I should lower my stirrups a hole OR if I just need to be a better rider and try to get out of the saddle half an inch when I post? Any tips on what I should do?

relax and let him carry you.. posting is better for their back.. but allow yourself to go with him.. think UP and relax down.. dont overthink.. shut your eyes and feel it ..lunge lessons are great for that.. no stirrups..there is no" stiff correct oh im gonna mess up way".. its all FEEL.. go with his flow..if you sit relax you body and feel it.. let your body follow his..
