Is it hard? I have an older cactus I'm sitting inside in the rain thinking about changing the conchos. Just wondering if it's difficult to change them out.

I'm glad you posted! I'd love to get new saddle conchos but taking the old ones off and messing something up scares me lol!

Its super easy just unscrew the conchos out of your saddle they all have a screw back on them, I change out conchos on all my saddles that I buy. Been doing that for many many years

You wont mess one up. I do this all the time, I clean and restore saddles for people. You may run into some being glued in sometimes tho. You wont have much luck getting those out.

You may need a rubber mallet to get them to back out and yes they do screw in. You can Google concos.searchat on ebay or amazon, gandy leather also has some.try saddle concho.or whole sale concho.lot out there.
