I have always kind of been a lover of my classic equine legacy boots, I have always just liked the support and way they fit nice around most horses legs.  Well, this weekend we went to a barrel race with pretty deep sand and my mare had her boots FULL of sand after our run. Not impressed and it had me a little paranoid to even use them again the second day.

What are your favorite boots? CE, Iconclast, Pro Choice Elite (add your own here) lol

Why do you like them best?

I've always used Classic Equine Legacies and never had a problem.

Classic Equine crossfit. You already use and love CE, so I think you'd like them. I always used CE before the crossfits, but I didn't love the legacies. I love the crossfits. Josey's is about as deep and sandy as it gets and there wasn't any sand in my boots.

I have the Crossfit boots, too. They are nice. One of my horses is between sizes M & L. Would you go up or down a size for better fit?

I had to warm up Saturday night in sandy slop at a rodeo. Outside of his Flow boots were mud colored and wet. His legs were clean and dry when i took them off after our run.

I use RES boots. We were in a deep arena and no sand came out of their boots and their legs stayed cooler. My two cents

I personally LOVE my iconoclast boots. I can run in deep sand and mud and there's never ANY mud or sand on my horse's legs. I don't see myself going back to my CE boots after using iconoclast

Flowboots. My mare moves the best in them and her legs stay clean and cool.

I say it everytime and get laughed at but I LOVE my original Bar F Splint boots. Yes they are still as ugly and green as they were when my dad bought them new & on sale in the 80s. They've held up this long and I use them daily. I have the newer Bar F splints and they hold up just as well. Never had a problem with them. Hose them off and hang to dry and you're ready to go the next day.
I cover them with black boot covers because let's be honest, grungy 80s green isn't attractive on any color horse. LOL
I had a pair of  SMB 2 or something and they fell apart after the 5th or 6th day... The stitching came off them.... The company wouldn't replace them and the store I bought them from couldn't take them back.

Here are the exact pair I have... Only they aren't as green anymore. LOL. Bar F boots are what I swear by. Always have. Always will. $130 for front and hind boots that will literally last a life time if you take care of them... Sign me up!

For me it depends on the horse but I would say overall I like the CE Legacys.

However, I have some old pro choice ones that I use when its muddy and they have held up through a lot of torture.

I generally use polos on my gelding as boots just don't fit him right in the fronts. I get sand pretty much with any boots on him because they just don't fit right. I have wanted to try iconoclasts.

I love my Classic Equines...they do get some sand in them, but so did the Prof Choice SMB3's I had too. But as far as fit and useability and ease of use, the CE Legacies are my favorite.
