I'm wanting to add flax to my feed. I understand it's best to grind it daily. Have read that soaking it is bad and toxic. But what if it's ground fresh and added to a previously soaked beetpulp mash? |

Location: MN | Maybe this article will help. After reading this a while back, I decided to feed them whole. Plus - grinding everyday sounds so tedious. http://www.understanding-horse-nutrition.com/flax-seed.html

Thank you for the link! So from my understanding, they don't lose nutritional value by not being ground. Which still brings be back to my initial question, can I throw it in a batch of previously soaked beetpulp without it becoming harmful? Or does it need to be fed separate? |
