Expert Posts: 1549 Location: Southwest Louisiana	I have a 20 year old with an old stifle injury. He raced for 6 years a long time ago and now it's starting to bother him much more than it used to. He doesn't even like standing for the farrier now because of it, when he used to be fine. He can't break into a lope without kicking his leg out. He's turned out 24/7 on good grass and on senior feed. I'm looking for a good supplement for him so he's more comfortable. He doesn't get ridden much, he's mostly retired.

It Goes On Posts: 2262 Location: Muskogee, OK	You'll get the most bang for your buck with maintenance injections into that stifle 1-2 times yearly and getting him on a good injectable joint supplement such as Pentosan or Adequan.

I agree with this!!! I was just under the impression the OP was looking for a quick simple solution. But yea injections are the best.
