Expert Posts: 2674 Location: Silver Lake, MN	A friend of mine owns a son of his and his first babies are just yearlings but love them all. Good minded and easy to deal with, and they are out of running bred mare. Super excited about the newest one...by a daughter of Panther Mountain. The other 2 born this year both sold right away too if that tells you anything.

knotty chick Posts: 15758	I have a 4 year old mare I was fortunate enough to buy from RockinAs. She is behind, started late 2. Banged up/cut hind legs summer of three. But I camped on her all winter. She took to Barrels like a duck to water and wants to have a wicked turning style. She really wants to drive her hock under herself and use it. She for some reason doesn't care for barrel bits. She likes more of a cow horse bit. She is very sensitive and I can hurt her feelings and she will remember it. But with that said, I find her so much fun and easy to ride.
