Just a fun post for everyone. What's your plans for the 4th of July? Barbecues? Rodeos? Just chilling out? I'll be buying a new dishwasher lol.

My hubby's bday is the 4th! We usually grill out, drink cold beer and set off a few fireworks and listen to good music!

It is our 16th anniversary on the 4th.  We are going to Big Bend National Park, for some hiking and getting away.  Hopefully we won't heat stroke....

Doing crowd control while my neighbors from hell shoot fireworks and pellets at my horses. Will have my video camera out. May take a few pot shots at the vents on their roof with my deer rifle. A little pepper spray for their dogs and a few dead chickens on posts by their front yard. Need to get those out soon so they stink. Maybe a little potassium sulfide in their yard too. Should be fun

We are having our annual bash on Saturday, due to the 4th being on a Tuesday and we have people that travel in for it.  Good food, swimming, catching up with family.  We shoot off about 1,000.00 worth of fireworks by the time everyone chips in 100.00 to 200.00 dollars worth.  It's become a pretty nice fireworks display and we have neighbors from all around that look forward to it.  Sometimes cars will stop and line the road.  My hubby and my son in law are in charge and they have built "special"  holders for the launching.
My horses just stand in the pasture and watch.  Doesn't seem to phase them one bit.

Heading up to our cabin, taking the horse and dogs. Finally going to get to ride in cooler weather. This AZ heat is brutal!

We are supposed to have a regular heat wave, so I think we'll be sticking around to make sure the neighbors don't burn the house down with the fire works. Might go out and work with the horses, might barbecue. We don't really go any where, so we don't really make any big plans.

Staying home to protect horses from the neighborhood nimrods with fireworks! We've already had one vet trip early this morning for the aftermath of 3am hoodlums!
